BLACKBERRY OAKS
GOLF COURSE INFORMATION
Best friends, Wally Boughton and Gary Blocker, worked together to create and open Blackberry Oaks Golf Course in 1993. The goal was to offer a golf experience that any player, regardless of skill level, could enjoy while spending a day with nature.
The result was an 18-hole championship design that stretches from 5,294 to over 6,400 yards, with a layout that winds through the woods, along the Blackberry Creek and water features created to test the most skilled player, while allowing new golfers to learn the game in a peaceful and beautiful setting.
Blackberry Oaks Golf Course also is a favorite among the region’s growing junior golfer population. This track allows for a set up that both teaches and challenges young players who want a true golf experience while learning the game.
